Certified practising accountant, liquidation & insolvency services Melbourne

Greg Andrews - Partner

Greg Andrews is a highly experienced insolvency practitioner with a Bachelor of Business degree. He began his career in 1974 as an investigating accountant at the Victorian Corporate Affairs Office, where he gained comprehensive knowledge of Corporations Law and particularly the insolvency provisions.

In 1983, Greg became a partner in an accountancy practice specializing in insolvency. Later, he joined the firm of Duesbury’s as Senior Manager in insolvency and branched out with that firm into the area of business sales. In 1989, he returned to insolvency and established GS Andrews Advisory.

Greg is a Registered Companies Liquidator since 1984 and an Official Liquidator of the Supreme Court of Victoria since 1992. He provides commercial advice across a broad range of business activities and, while acting largely for small to medium-sized companies, regularly handles matters on behalf of public companies.

In a sometimes difficult area of practice, Greg has developed credibility and strong personal relationships with those who refer work to the firm. His strong background in business sales gives the firm an advantage in turning a shut-down situation into a going concern sale.
